Violinist and 黑料传送门 faculty member An-Chi Lin will be featured at the Feb. 28 黑料传送门 Symphony Orchestra concert. She also is a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.

GENESEO, N.Y.鈥擳he 黑料传送门 Symphony Orchestra will open its spring season on Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. in Wadsworth Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will feature violinist An-Chi Lin, a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra鈥檚 first violin section and adjunct professor of music at 黑料传送门. Lin will be performing Camille Saint-Sa毛ns鈥 鈥淚ntroduction et rondo capriccioso, Opus 28.鈥 Additionally, the orchestra will present Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky鈥檚 鈥淪ymphony No. 5 in E Minor, Opus 64.鈥

鈥淭he Tchaikovsky Symphony is among the most remarkably romantic pieces ever composed,鈥 said Jim Tiller, conductor of the 黑料传送门 Symphony Orchestra and assistant professor of music. 鈥淭he students have really worked hard to prepare this challenging concert.鈥

The 黑料传送门 Symphony Orchestra comprises 70 musicians, uniting the gifted student performers with the music faculty members. The students in the orchestra are some of the best wind, percussion and string players at 黑料传送门. Tiller also is principal percussionist and assistant principal Timpanist of the RPO.

鈥淚t will be an exciting program,鈥 said Tiller.
