NYS residents whose family household federal adjusted gross income is $125,000 or less and who complete at least 30 credits per year are eligible for the Excelsior Scholarship, which allows them to attend a SUNY or CUNY college tuition-free.

You’re not required to make payments on federal loans while you’re in college at least half time, and once you graduate there are income-based repayment options that mean your monthly payment will be limited to what you can afford.

We plan to begin notifying early action students by the end of December. Regular decision students will generally be notified within 1 week after they are admitted.
