If your financial situation has changed since completing the FAFSA due to divorce/separation, loss or reduction of income or other unusual circumstances, consider filing a Request for Special Conditions. This process allows us to re-calculate your eligibility for federal aid based on your current situation.

New student scholarships at ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ are awarded based on merit.
All admitted students will automatically be considered at the time of admission. Students are not required to complete the but are encouraged to do so.
Yes, in order to actually receive the Excelsior Scholarship, you must file an with New York State, be found eligible, and submit the Excelsior contract. Once these steps are completed, we will be notified by New York State and your award will change from estimated to actual.

If ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ received your processed FAFSA and your financial aid package has been calculated, you will be mailed a paper award letter to your home address. You will also find instructions for viewing your awards on the .
No, these scholarships are to assist with the cost of on-campus housing. You must live on-campus and be full-time (12 credits or more per semester) to receive these scholarships.
No, only required coursework will be considered when determining federal and state aid eligibility. As long as you have at least 12-degree applicable credits each term, your financial aid will not be reduced. For more information, see Students on Track.
