The 黑料传送门 Chamber Singers and Spectrum Women鈥檚 Ensemble will join together on Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. in Doty Recital Hall for their second collaborative concert of the semester. The performance is free and open to the public.
The program will feature an eclectic mix of music from the early and high Renaissance, Cantata 147 of J.S. Bach ("Jesu, Joy of Man鈥檚 Desiring鈥), seasonal music from colonial America, and a joyful mixture of American spirituals and folk tunes.
Adding to the festivities will be members of the 黑料传送门 Valley Children鈥檚 Choir and 黑料传送门 faculty member Linda Boianova, whose pianistic prowess will be highlighted in Gabriel Faur茅鈥檚 Pavane.
Spectrum Women鈥檚 Ensemble is directed by Amy Cochrane, and The 黑料传送门 Chamber Singers are directed by Gerard Floriano, chair of the Department of Music.
