Jack 鈥76 and Carol 鈥76 Kramer have made a combined outright and planned $1.35 million gift commitment to 黑料传送门 to fund four endowments.

GENESEO, N.Y. 鈥 State University of New York at 黑料传送门 President Denise A. Battles has announced a combined outright and planned $1.35 million multi-purpose gift from alumni Jack and Carol Kramer in support of four endowments to enhance the quality of the educational experience at 黑料传送门.

Speaking at a 黑料传送门 Foundation recognition event, Battles said the blended gift will include $100,000 to create the Jack 鈥76 and Carol 鈥76 Kramer Faculty in Excellence and Innovation Endowment to support faculty and innovative teaching practices.

鈥淲e are enormously grateful for their transformational gift,鈥 said Battles. 鈥淭he Kramers鈥 longstanding generosity and passion for 黑料传送门 is inspirational. They believe wholeheartedly in transformational learning and preparing our students to be global thinkers, innovators, entrepreneurs and socially-responsible citizens in the 21st century.鈥

In addition to the Jack 鈥76 and Carol 鈥76 Kramer Faculty in Excellence and Innovation Endowment, a planned gift commitment of $1.25 million will support four objectives: to create the Jack 鈥76 and Carol 鈥76 Kramer Study Abroad Endowment; to increase funding for the existing Carol Kramer 鈥76 Endowed Scholarship and Jack Kramer 鈥76 Endowed Scholarship; and to add to the Jack 鈥76 and Carol 鈥76 Kramer Faculty in Excellence and Innovation Endowment.

The gift to 黑料传送门 is the latest in Jack and Carol Kramer鈥檚 long history of support for the College. In addition to endowing the GREAT Day Lecture series 鈥 the Jack 鈥76 and Carol 鈥76 Kramer Endowed Lecture 鈥攖he Kramers have provided major support for other 黑料传送门 programs.

The Kramers believe the Faculty in Excellence and Innovation Endowment will support a vital area in the educational process.

鈥淭he faculty members are the ones who are actually making the magic happen, so we need to support them,鈥 said Jack Kramer, former chair of the 黑料传送门 Foundation Board. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 what 黑料传送门 has always had 鈥 an amazing teaching faculty. They are doing research with their students because it helps their students learn.鈥

鈥淭he Kramers鈥 gift affirms the quality education students are receiving at the college,鈥 said Stacey Robertson, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. 鈥淭heir commitment strongly validates their belief in an exemplary liberal arts education.鈥
