ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ earned first place in of more than 600 master’s universities in the nation for contribution to the public good.
Washington Monthly’s 2023 College Guide and Rankings ranks four-year schools (national universities, liberal arts colleges, baccalaureate colleges, and master’s universities) in three broad categories: social mobility, research, and providing opportunities for public service. ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ is #1 in service, #2 in research, and #69 in social mobility.
To be at the top of the ranking, colleges must excel across the full breadth of measures rather than excelling in just one category, the editors note. ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ has been in the top five of the master’s list for 11 consecutive years.
ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ is also ranked 62 of . The "best bang for the buck" category is a measure of how well an institution helps non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.
