Dr. SeungJung Chichester is currently an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education in the School of Education at ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ. Before coming to ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ, she taught teacher candidates in Early Childhood Education at the University of Montana Western and SUNY Buffalo. Before becoming a teacher educator, she worked with culturally and linguistically diverse children in the US and South Korea as a preschool teacher.

Her areas of research include children’s learning through collaborative and real-life experiences, such as cooking, as well as pre-service teachers’ perceptions and enactment of child-centered instructional approaches, and culturally responsive teaching for multilingual children.
