If you completed the Mandated Reporter training on or after November 1, 2022, it meets the April 1st, 2025 requirements. If you completed the workshop prior to November 1, 2022 you will need to re-take it to meet the new requirements.

Teacher candidates who complete their required seminars (DASA, SAVE, Mandated Reporter) through an educator preparatory program do not automatically have their seminars show up in TEACH. If you need proof of completion for an employer, you can request an official transcript. If an employer requires the seminars to appear in TEACH, you can request NYSED add them by sending an official transcript to NYSED.

No. INTD 105 has never counted for English before and is not an English course, it is a writing course. We recommend candidates look at or their local community colleges to earn the 6 credits required for the extension. You need to make sure the courses count towards the English major at the institution.
